1 Information We Collect
Hogamdo collects only minimal information necessary to provide the service. Images uploaded for face analysis are used only for analysis purposes and are immediately deleted after analysis is complete. Images are not permanently stored on our servers. The information we collect includes: face images (for analysis purposes), browser type and version, IP address (anonymized), and service usage records.
2 Photo Processing
Uploaded face photos are handled as follows, depending on the user's choice. (1) Face analysis: Photos are processed solely in server memory and discarded immediately upon completion. They are not written to disk or database, and the original image is not retained anywhere. Only extracted numerical data (face ratios, eye size, etc.) is used for analysis. (2) Matching submission (with email): The original face photo is not stored on our servers; matching collects and uses only the analysis result (numerical data) and application details (email, date of birth, gender). The iOS app likewise does not transmit photos for matching purposes. Therefore face photos — which are biometric information — are not retained in our database through any path. Facial landmark detection through Google MediaPipe runs locally on the user's device; landmark data is not transmitted to external servers.
3 Data Retention
Images processed for face analysis are discarded immediately upon completion and are not stored on our servers. Original face photos are not retained even when a matching request is submitted. Matching application data (email, date of birth, gender, analysis result) is collected with the user's consent and retained until the matching service ends or the user requests deletion. Email addresses collected through customer inquiries are retained for one year after resolution and then destroyed. Service usage logs are retained for up to 90 days for service improvement purposes and are automatically deleted thereafter. Where retention is required by law, data is retained for the period prescribed by the applicable legislation.
4 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Hogamdo uses cookies for service improvement. Essential cookies are used for basic website functions (language settings, session management). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used for visitor statistics and service improvement, with IP addresses anonymized. Regarding advertising cookies, Google may set and read cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve personalized ads based on your interests. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings page (https://adssettings.google.com). You can also refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may be limited as a result.
5 Third-Party Services
Hogamdo does not sell or share user personal information with third parties. However, we use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies: Google MediaPipe (face analysis, runs locally in browser), Google Analytics (visitor statistics, anonymized), and Google AdSense (advertising, uses advertising identifiers). Each service processes data in accordance with its respective provider's privacy policy.
6 Your Rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time: request access to your personal information, request correction or deletion of your personal information, request suspension of processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, please email contact@whereamihot.me and we will process your request without delay. However, access may be restricted in accordance with applicable laws.
7 Security Measures
Hogamdo implements the following technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal information: SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission, local browser processing for face analysis (minimizing server transmission), restricted server access and access log management, and regular security audits and vulnerability patching.
8 Children's Privacy
Hogamdo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age. If we become aware that a child under 14 has used our service, we will promptly delete the relevant information. 9 Analytics Tools
Hogamdo uses Google Analytics for service improvement and user experience enhancement. Google Analytics collects statistics such as visitor count, page views, and session duration through cookies. 10 Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law or our services. Changes will be posted on the website, and significant changes will be notified in advance. The revised policy takes effect from the date it is posted.
