We use Google's MediaPipe Face Landmarker to detect 478 facial landmarks, then precisely measure 11 metrics including face ratio, eye size, jawline angle, lip thickness, and cheekbone prominence. This data is compared against each country's beauty standard database to calculate scores.

Hogamdo's analysis is based on statistical data and cultural preference research. Since beauty standards are subjective and vary by culture, results should be understood as 'cultural compatibility' rather than 'absolute evaluation.' It's designed for fun and educational purposes.

A clear front-facing photo gives the most accurate results. Ideal conditions include good lighting, a simple background, face centered in the frame with the full face visible. Sunglasses or masks can reduce accuracy.

We measure face ratio (width:height), eye size, eye spacing, nose ratio, lip thickness, jawline angle, cheekbone prominence, forehead ratio, chin shape, facial symmetry, and golden ratio proximity.

Photos are used only for analysis and are not stored on servers. All facial landmark analysis is processed locally in your browser, and only the calculated metric values are sent to the server. Data is automatically deleted after analysis is complete.

Hogamdo does not require registration and does not collect personal information such as email or name. Only geometric facial measurements (metrics) are used for analysis, and original photos are not stored.

No, analysis results are only visible to you. If you want to share results, you can use the 'Share Results' feature, but this is only possible through your own choice.

We use minimal cookies for basic website analytics (Google Analytics) and service improvement. You can decline cookie use, which will not affect your ability to use the service.

A high score means your facial features align well with that country's cultural beauty standards. For example, a high Japan score means your face ratio and features are close to what's preferred in Japanese culture.

The country you selected as your own is automatically excluded from results. This is designed to show 'how attractive you'd be in other countries.' If you set another country as your nationality, your actual country will appear in results.

Results are identical for the same photo. However, using different photos may yield different results as facial metrics can vary based on shooting angle, lighting, and expression. For most consistent results, use a front-facing photo in natural light.

Culture Affinity is an additional indicator showing how well your facial features match broader cultural regions (East Asia, Europe, Latin America, etc.) rather than individual countries.
