The public facial-metric dataset covers 139 countries. Embedding datasets and analysis paths can have different coverage, and your selected country may be excluded from recommendations.

How does Hogamdo analysis work?

The web client detects facial landmarks with MediaPipe and calculates proportions such as face ratio, eye size and lip fullness. Camera angle and expression can change these measurements. They describe a photo, not subjective attractiveness.

Metrics and face embeddings are compared with reference data. Depending on server settings and service availability, analysis uses embedding search or a metric-based scoring path. Country rankings are not preference surveys or probabilities of being liked.

Web face analysis sends a JPEG version of your photo, facial landmarks and calculated metrics to the server. Some server analysis paths use temporary image files and delete them after processing. Country rankings, returned metrics, gender, selected country and language are saved to provide shareable results. The original photo is not saved with the shared result.

Why are the results different for each country?

Reference data and analysis paths can produce different country rankings. These are not surveys of personal preferences and should not be interpreted as validated national beauty standards.

Taking the results in a healthy way

Treat results as a way to explore comparisons between a photo and reference data. A high score does not guarantee popularity, and a low score does not diminish personal worth. Changing photo conditions does not establish conclusions about relationships.
